4L&M Raphael's White Claw
Ending Llama Pickin’ 2023 with something special for those of you with patience. Going out on as high a note as we can produce.
4L&M Raphael’s White Claw is sired by Nastaza’s Raphael, a three time National Champion. Raphael was the National Grand Champion Medium Wool Male for ALSA in both 2014 and 2015 and the ILR National Grand Champion Medium Wool Male in 2015. Wow. When I first saw him I knew he was my kind of llama. Huge, stretchy, great bone and body mass, long neck, flashy and out of National Champion parents. His dam is one of my all time favorite females. What genetics and presence.
Carlos Mendoza, the original breeder of Raphael , shared his thoughts when we purchased Raphael:
“Raphael is llama royalty for sure out of one of the great Nevaska/Besakih sisters Nastaza and Sambuca our part Argentine male. Representing the best of Kay Patterson blood lines on both sides, Raphael weighed over 40 pounds at birth and seemed to never stop growing. Never beaten in the show ring he proudly carries three national grand champion titles to his name in both ALSA and ILR show divisions. We cannot be happier as he transitions to another great home. Great wine will certainly not be new to this magnificent male and trust he will provide you with many great camelid cuvees for your farm :)”
White Claw’s ,dam Marquis Dymond, a daughter of KVF Timone’s Pride, is a National Champion and high selling llama at MLM 2019. Marquis Dymond was also the Best of Show Female at MLM.
Its hard to get parents stronger than this. Multiple National Championships between these parents. If you are interested in showing and then breeding for National Champions I’d look hard at this young lady.
