UPDATE: Just sheared and WOW, I knew she would be dark silver under that coat with a solid body. She is getting BIG and super sweet! Cashmere is our only medium heavy wool llama in the sale.  She is a solid silver taupe part Argentine female with heavy bone and a beautiful face.  We can’t wait till spring so we can shear her barrel which will show the silver on an exquisite solid body.  Cashmere has the silver/taupe coloration on both sides of her pedigree.  Her sire is Platinum RTC who is now owned by Denise Fehrenbach & Terri Strouse.  He has some great bloodlines going back to Argentine Don Zunca and M.R.S. Night Vision, BAL Silver Belle, Silver Peru, and the most famous herdsire, The Fiduciary.  Cashmere’s dam, PPR Sheworthy, is a beautiful large silver/taupe female that we acquired through the Pearson Pond Ranch estate.  Sheworthy is out of Purple Tiger, Bolivian Starmaker, Aloha Night Sprite, and Merit on her sire side, and Chileno Chiri Chico, Chileno Chasca, and Top Flight on her dam side.  Cashmere will just turn one year old by sale time.  I consider her to be the “sleeper” lot in the sale.  You won’t pay much attention to her until you see her in person at the sale.  Don’t let this ¼ Argentine girl get away.
