Description

BIG GIRL ALERT!!  So you want BIG and something rare out of Pearson Pond Ranch.  Sphinx is the largest female llama on Walnut Ridge Farm topping at around 6’6” at the pole. She has produced some of the best crias on our farm bred to several different herdsires. It is difficult to keep them due to their demand, but we have decided to keep her current 2022 female cria , WRLF Sandstone’s Amera, and offer Sphinx in the sale.  She comes from the lines of PKS Cleopatra (Mike West), PPR Little Egypt, MGF Don Diago, & Argentine Don Zunca. Sphinx is very healthy for a mature female and will produce more cria for your farm.  She is an attentive mother with plenty of milk. Be sure to look at her cria and ask current owners how they like them.  Her 2019 male cria out of MSF Blizzard is owned by Mike & Belinda Welch, and her 2021 female cria out of Sandstone is owned by Ray & Phyllis Hauck. One of her daughters that we kept on the farm, WRLF Cami out of ALCL Camo Man, is also in the sale.  Sphinx is confirmed bred via ultrasound to our large paint herdsire, GNLC Cococola, for a June 2023 cria.  We just sheared her and her “baby bump” is very large! If you are serious about building your herd with quality bloodlines, Sphinx is for you. (Due 6/16/23 – 6/18/23)
